Resources

As a health coach and an athlete, I truly care about what I put in and on my body, I would like to share some of my favourite resources for nutritional supplements and skin care.

I believe in keeping things simple and natural – healthy living inside and out.

Why Protein?

Protein is a critical nutrient for one’s body especially to build and repair tissue. Quality is very important. If you are vegan or vegetarian, sometimes getting protein into your diet can be challenging.

I highly recommend a protein powder as a supplement to one’s diet, especially if you are an athlete. Protein helps repair muscle breakdown.

Three plant-based protein powders I highly recommend are:

Arbonne Protein Shake Mix or Arbonne Daily Protein Boost available here.

Sunwarrior Blend available here.

Sprout Living available here.

Why Omega's?

Omega-3 fatty acids are heart-healthy fats found in certain fish and plant sources that should be a must in your daily diet. Omega-3s decrease muscle fatigue, prevent heart disease and reduce inflammation. My favourite is vegan Ahiflower Oil – a powerhouse omega that offers an unparalleled combination of essential omega 3,6,9 fatty acids. Available here.

Why Superfoods?

Superfoods contain high levels of antioxidents and vitamins that can be challenging to get by just eating regular foods. Adding supplements to one’s diet can help boost immunity and overall quality of your diet.

One of my absolute favourite’s is kakadu plum as it contains the highest recorded levels of vitamin C of any fruit in the world. You can find it, along with other types here.

Why Skincare?

What we put on our bodies is just as important as what we put in our bodies. To achieve overall wellness and have healthy looking skin, I highly recommend any of the Arbonne skincare products. Arbonne uses the best botanical and scientific ingredients, creating products that hydrate and protect your skin. Some of my favourites include the AgeWell line found here, and True Botanicals found here.
